Winter Viruses

There are lots of nasty viruses around.

If you have any cold and flu symptoms or respiratory symptoms

you must do a 3in1 RAT Test and wear a mask 

before being seen.

We can only see patients face to face with a Negative RAT Test.

Fondly known as Dr Karu. Dr Karu has been in General Practice since 1996.
He is very passionate about managing all aspects of Chronic Diseases.
Burwood Heights Medical Centre aims to provide holistic family orientated care.

We have multiple professional and highly experienced clinical staff to treat a number of medical conditions.

Dr Ezra has extensive experience in geriatric medicine and chronic disease management.

He values comprehensive evidence based care and enjoys working collaboratively with his patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Free parking is at the rear of the shopping centre.

Our Fees

We bulk bill all eligible patients. Lots of bulk billed appointments available now.

We are a mixed billing clinic. The majority of our appointments are bulk billed for eligible Medicare patients. Our clinic charges the below fee's.

All fee's are payable at the time of the appointment. We accept all cards and cash. Card use incurs a surcharge.

Standard Appointments for Patients without a Medicare Card:

New Overseas Students - $85.00

Before 8am - $95.00

Overseas Students (existing) - $55.00

Before 8am (existing) - $65.00

~Patients must show their current student status & ID.

New Overseas Visitors - $85.00

Before 8am - $95.00

Overseas Visitors (existing) - $75.00

Before 8am (existing) - $95

Referral Letter Copies - $40.00

To reproduce Referral letters that have already been sent to the Specialist or handed to patients incur a non-rebatable fee.

Telephone Appointment - $65.00

Patients who haven’t been seen face to face in the last 12mths can opt to pay a non-rebatable fee for a phone appointment.

Failure to Attend - $50.00

Patients who fail to attend or notify the clinic within 2hrs of their appointment are required to pay before being seen again.

This includes patients who have appointments before 8am on Monday mornings. These appointments must be cancelled by 2pm on the Friday before.

 

Health Insurance can be claimed back with your payment receipt. We are unable to claim this for you at the appointment.

We use Hotdoc so that you can book an appointment online,

any time of the day or night. We also use Hotdoc to send

health reminders and appointment confirmations.
